First of all thank you for all the great memories over the last 4 seasons. They have been tremendous. You have truly shown us the potential of Tulane being a Football School.

I write to you today to express my belief that staying for an additional year and starting a graduate degree at Tulane would be the best decision of your life.

As a fellow alumni and someone who made the same decision 7 years ago I think the decision is a no brainer. Here are a few reasons why:

1. The NFL Draft is absolutely stacked this year at the QB position. Delaying the Draft for a season could be the difference between a 3/4 round pick and going #1 overall.

2. The new coaching staff is in a position to reload and win another AAC title game, likely positioning the 🌊 to make the 12 team CFP.

3. There is absolutely no place more fun to be in your early 20s than on Tulane’s campus. Uptown New Orleans is a special place, and I wish I could go back to being a student regularly.

4. Football will not last forever and a graduate degree from Tulane is an invaluable resource.

5. Tulane has shown a commitment to continuing the winning tradition. Expect Sumrall to bring in a lot of impact transfers. He will lead a MEAN defense.

6. Show Willie and all the other “Coogs” who the players were what made this last 2 year run happen.

7. You would have the chance to improve to 2-0 against Kansas State and avenge the close loss against OU from a few years ago.

8. If you declare for the draft you likely will not be able to enjoy Mardi Gras 2024 to its full extent. Come back and we’ll get you on a Float.
